A/Prof Dr. Jeremy Jammes

Jeremy Jammes serves as Director and Associate Professor of the Institute of Asian Studies, Universiti Brunei Darussalam (http://ias.ubd.edu.bn/). He was formerly Deputy Director, Head of Publications, and Strategic Adviser of the Research Institute on Contemporary Southeast Asia (IRASEC, CNRS-MAEE). He is also Editor in Chief of the Springer Book Series ‘Asia in Transition’ (http://www.springer.com/series/13611?detailsPage=titles).
Jeremy Jammes is a social anthropologist and has published widely on religious issues in Vietnam, and also in Cambodia and Southeast Asia. He completed his PhD research on Caodaism in 2006 (Paris X Nanterre), after extensive ethnographic fieldwork among Caodai communities in Vietnam, Cambodia and France.
